Diffused Gas Technologies, Inc.ng an open bottom design and corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, the SS series coarse bubble plenum chamber diffuser can be used in wastewater treatment facilities requiring high volumes of air per diffuser for the generation of coarse air bubbles. The open bottom design allows for clog-free operation in small or large volume plants by providing an "exit zone" for solids present in the wastewater flow being treated. Coarse bubbles are created with air being introduced to the plenum chamber through ¾-in. NPT fittings. Units are available in 12-in. and 24-in. sizes with air flow ranges from 2-50 CFM.
