Tnemec Company, Inc.pecifically for use on water tanks, 91-H2O Hydro-Zinc is a moisture-cured, urethane zinc-rich primer that can be shop-applied to both sides of a steel plate. This design eliminates the need for two primers. The system is said to be the first organic, zinc-rich primer to be ANSI/NSF standard 61 certified for potable water contact. It can be sprayed, brushed or rolled on an application, allowing specifiers and fabricators to benefit from reduced application. The product is a component of the company's hydrosystem that provides galvanic and barrier protection to steel substrates for interior and exterior corrosion protection.
