Allowing a person to initiate paging from a numeric keypad, RS232/TAP, telephone, alarms, and DTMF handheld radios, the PageCenter paging communication system is a complete paging system for on-site applications. This system offers full alphanumeric paging capabilities, group calling and an integrated two-way radio (136-174, 260-280, 403-512 MHz) with 2/4-watt output. It can provide coverage suitable for a small building, a parking lot or hospital wing. An external radio allows the unit to cover a larger campus-sized area or industrial facility. Customer-owned messaging allows an organization to receive pages in hard-to-reach areas. It also enables to company to achieve control of the priority and timing of page delivery.
