Nutrients are found naturally in sludge blankets and grease build-ups. Under optimal conditions, bacteria can synthesize all of these nutrients. In actual field conditions, however, metabolic poisons, temperature extremes, or unfavorable oxygen levels rob these cells of much of their natural metabolism capacity. BYO-GON PX-109 supplies the extend source of a key nutrient to stimulate the cells' natural metabolism so that the biomass then functions more efficiently. As a result, grease is digested. Foaming problems and filamentous growth are reduced.
