Greyline Instruments Inc.ng a simple, built-in three-key calibration system to enter pipe diameter, the PDFM-IV Portable Doppler Flow Meter can display, totalize and data log in gallons, liters or any engineering units. The system has AC/DC operation and a built-in, rechargeable batter designed for at least 24 hours continuous operation. A strap-on ultrasonic sensor can be mounted on the outside of a pipe to allow this system to show the flow rate instantly.
Standard features include a 4-20mA output, a 50,000-point data logger and Windows software. Data logs can be retrieved by dial-up or direct connection to the RS232 output, and display and flow logs can be displayed and stored on a PC in graph or table format. This system can be used in wastewater, sludge, slurries, chemicals, and abrasives. Sensitivity is adjustable for each application.
