This three-dimensional random polyamide matting is designed to help develop strong vegetation as natural protection against erosion

This three-dimensional random polyamide matting is designed to help develop strong vegetation as natural protection against erosion. The mat traps soil particles and seeds, and once a layer of vegetation has formed, provides root systems with reinforcement. Its random filaments help to slow down wind speed and runoff water, and this product can be used on steep slopes. It forms the basis for a range of erosion control materials, and is used as protection of embankment and slopes. The matting is built for use in civil engineering, landscaping and waste management projects.

This matting comes in four standard types with an entirely open structure or a more closed structure at the underside (the flat-back). Thickness ranges from approx. 10mm to 20mm and in widths varying from one to 5.75 m.

Several variations of the matting are available, and are designed for specific uses, including steep slopes, slippery liners and bank protection.
