Sensor Array
The Aqua-Q from AromaScan is an instrument for measuring odors in drinking water. It has a 32 element conducting polymer sensing array to monitor odorous volatiles in water. The responses from the array for standard water can be compared to distribution water and a decision can be made to increase or decrease the levels of carbon used to adsorb these volatiles.
This system uses Windows based software and a user interface to produce values for the quality of drinking water.
