The chemical constituents are primarily iron oxide, aluminum oxide, silica dioxide and carbon. The gradation is classified as coarse sand. It is inert, odorless and lightweight.
This conditioner provides an increase in soil aeration at the root level thus providing better gas exchange, root penetration and growth. The porous characteristics allow the smaller pores to remain filled with water while larger pores that are empty fill with air. The lightweight property provides excellent soil mix yield.
