The North American Green DOT System Option

Recognizing the importance of effective yet economical rolled erosion control product (RECP) installations, North American Green has developed a revolutionary system to ensure optimum staple use and seam formation. The patent pending North American Green DOT System consists of color-coded dots and lines applied to our erosion control blankets and mattings during the manufacturing process, which function as visual aids for staple/stake placement and seam formation during installation.

The optional DOT System uses specially formulated environmentally safe BioPaint to clearly mark staple patterns on all of our standard products and features the Seam Stitch, a colored thread stitched along roll edges which acts as a guide for overlapping adjacent rolls. The DOT System, available as an option on North American Green blankets, offers many benefits for both contractors and design engineers, resulting in more cost-effective RECP installations.
