Designed for the safe transfer of toxic, corrosive or expensive liquids, the MER series pumps incorporate a magnetic, sealless drive design that prevents leaking. It is compatible with standard C-flange motors, and the close-coupled design helps eliminate motor alignment. The unit features an integral impeller/inner magnet, stationary shaft and a compact rotor supported by front and rear bearings. Wetted parts of PVDF or optional ETFE allow these pumps to be used for transfer of most mineral and organic acids, bases, alcohols, hydrocarbons, and halogens. Capable of transferring fluid up to 195°F, this system can generate flows of GPM and heads up to 130 ft. Optional features include a sole plate, flow switch, channel-mount base, thermostat, dry run protector, leak detector, pressure switch, and long coupling.
