N/A now offers the Epoxide HS tank lining for the water and wastewater markets. This polyamide epoxy contains 70% solids by volume and is within the EPA's VOC guidelines with an emission of 2.0 lb/gal. It is said to exhibit exceptional flow and leveling characteristics. The product is designed to protect against corrosion in the immersion service environments of potable water storage tanks, and the epoxy chemistry allows for a high crosslink density for the formation of a hard, tough film that is acid and alkali resistant. It has been shown to form a strong bond to substrates including steel and concrete, and is compatible with both impressed current and galvanic cathodic protection systems.

In addition to being NSF approved to Standard 61, this product meets AWWA D102-97 standards for interior epoxy coating systems and can be used in USDA inspected facilities. The coating can be applied to prepared surfaces by brush, roll or spray application.
