Barricade System

The T3B Plastic Type III Barricade System's durable, modular construction is designed to offer safety and convenience for traffic control lane closures. The system sets up quickly and is built to require little maintenance. The unit has been successfully tested to NCHRP 350 standards for a Category 2 Type III Barricade in January of 2000.

Safety features of this system are:
•T3Bs readily yield when struck by a vehicle. This allows vehicles to pass over T3B without causing damage to the passenger compartment.
•Lightweight parts don't bounce into traffic or the construction work zone.
•Fast set up reduces worker time on the road and exposure to road hazards.

The barricade offer visibility through 8¼-in. wide panels that provide a flat surface to allow for quick application of reflective sheeting using conventional tape applicators, as well as for conformance to many DOT specifications requiring a full 8-in. tape width. Stripes or directional arrows give direction to motorists.

Durable high density polyethylene plastic and modular construction allows the T3B system to take multiple hits with minimal damage to the overall system. Easily interchangeable parts speed the return of damaged units to operation.
