G6-42P Material Handler
Featuring an entirely new operator compartment design, the model G6-42P has 22 percent more cab room for extra comfort. From the re-designed seating module, an operator also is afforded an excellent view of the jobsite in all directions while using joysticks to control movements of the machine and its boom-end attachments with precision.
Vital machine functions are monitored on the new wrap-around instrument panel. The cab also has FOPS/ROPS certification to help protect the operator from falling objects or the unlikely event of a machine roll-over.
The model G6-42P is designed for efficient operation. It is capable of lifting loads of 6,600 pounds (3,000 kg), and has a maximum lift height 42-foot (12.8 m) lift height. Continuing the Gradall legend for outstanding versatility, the rugged three-section boom can be equipped with a variety of attachments including tilt carriages, swing carriages, slope piler carriage, 6-foot vertical mast, truss boom with winch, instant hook, buckets an aerial work platform and more. Attachment changes are quick and easy thanks to a newly designed QuickSwitch.
The G6-42P Gradall model has a functional high boom design while at the same time maintaining a low 94-inch (2.4 m) working profile for good operator visibility in any working mode.
Maneuverability is excellent with a no-shift hydrostatic drivetrain and Gradall's 90° rear-pivot steering. Pivoting around tight corners and into precise positions, the model G6-42P keeps the forks inside the tight turning radius at all times.
