Parsons Brinckerhoff Providing Engineering Services For Transit Infrastructure Improvements In Detroit

Detroit, MI - The Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) has awarded a contract to Parsons Brinckerhoff for on-call services for transit infrastructure improvements in the Detroit area.

Under the contract, Parsons Brinckerhoff will provide a range of transportation planning, engineering, and architectural services for various transit projects. The firm’s first assignment under the contract involves federal financial and planning advisory assistance for specific strategic grant opportunities; providing Federal Transit Administration compliance recommendations and assistance with the federal grant application process, including 5309 and 2014 TIGER grant applications; and other strategic grant submittals as requested by DDOT. The second task involves planning and program development assistance to create and implement a program development framework for management and implementation of DDOT capital projects using project management lifecycle methodologies.
