Truck Mounted Attenuator

The Alpha 70K truck-mounted attenuator meets NCHRP 350 and Test Level 2 criteria and offers protection for workers, motorist and equipment. This system is engineered to provide 45 mph impact protection, absorb collision energy during rear-end impacts, and prevent impacting vehicles from under-riding the truck. It also features a resilient nose to resist hit damage, a tapered nose shape minimizes corner damage, and aluminum construction to withstand harsh weather and corrosive elements. The unit can be used for slow moving mobile operations such as striping, sweeping, spraying, marking and mowing; stationary operations such as work crews maintaining or repairing crash cushions, guard rails, bridges, or road surfaces; and winter maintenance operations such as spreading and plowing.
