AMETEK Drexelbrookadjustable length ultrasonic "gap" level switch has just been introduced by Drexelbrook Engineering Co. This on/off level switch requires no calibration of any kind and measures all types of liquids. The adjustable mounting gland allows the user to easily adjust the control point to anywhere along the entire length of the sensor. The unit indicates absence or presence of material, regardless of any changes in the material. An optional Verify diagnostic circuit monitors both electronics and the sensor; it checks the integrity of the sensor, the operation of the measuring circuit, and the operation of the alarm output signal.
This adjustable length gap switch is available for either two-wire or line-powered operation. There are no moving parts to break or replace.
