A Broward County-owned bridge in Miramar, Florida, which was constructed in 1956 and experienced approximately 1,800 crossings a day, was beginning to show signs of deterioration and structural issues. The Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division (HMBD) proposed the use of an innovative design and construction method that minimized the construction impacts to the public by mainly working on the underside of the bridge. However, because of the global supply chain crunch and long lead times for product, there was an issue completing the project in the desired timeframe. Fortunately, GeoTree was able to provide a solution.
