N/A allow tank applicators to work in cold weather, the Epoxide II low temperature tank lining is a self-priming epoxy amine coating. This NSF-approved coating is formulated for application to temperatures of 35°F, and provides a corrosion-resistant barrier on the interiors of potable, fresh and saltwater storage tanks. It complies with toxicological and extraction test requirements of NSF Standard 61, AWWA D102-97 for interior catalyzed epoxy systems, is suitable for USDA inspected facilities, and meets EPA standards for VOC emissions. The product is said to form a strong bond to a variety of substrates including steel and concrete, and is compatible with both current and galvanic cathodic protection systems. The epoxy coating has a high solids composition (62% per volume), and can be brush, roll or spray applied.
