TRANSMAP uses efficient mobile mapping technology through the ON-SIGHT system to collect precise infrastructure data and digital multi-media geographic information needed by transportation agencies.

With a high degree of accuracy, TRANSMAP can:

• pinpoint road centerline coordinates
  
• capture digital images of roads and pavements
  
• determine positions and/or offsets of selected objects such as traffic signs, manholes, pavement legends, guardrails, bridges and culverts

Using the convenient stereo image database generated, your staff can minimize their field time by extracting positions of objects and answering engineering design questions from the desktop. The user accesses the data either through the GIS (by clicking on the map) or through the infrastructure management software.

The integrated infrastructure package we provide can be used by almost every department in a government organization. This multiplies the savings realized by the government, and creates a network of accurate and efficient planning throughout the system. We can also integrate legacy data with the base map we create, allowing organizations to link and update their current information with TRANSMAP's asset management solution.
