Updated Trucks Tier 2 Certified

Racine, WI -- Case recently upgraded its 300 Series articulated dump trucks to be Tier 2 certified and, at the same time, incorporated several other improvements that increase efficiency and reduce service requirements.

"In addition to upgrading the Case 325 and 330 ADTs to be Tier 2 certified, we've also incorporated charged air-to-air engine cooling and an electronically controlled engine," said Dave Wolf, Case marketing manager. "These improvements are part of our overall commitment to make equipment that runs with reduced emissions and greater performance and efficiency."

With charged air-to-air engine cooling, the air going into the intake manifold is cooler. Because cool air is denser than warm air, more air goes into the combustion chamber and provides a more efficient and cleaner burn.

Case has made several additional improvements to reduce service requirements and allow the operator or service technician to easily complete daily checks. These improvements include incorporating swing-out fenders and a hydraulic lift for the hood to provide easier access to maintenance points, valves and pumps.

Case Tier 2 models also feature an auto-lube system that continuously greases all lube points from a central distribution block, which greatly reduces daily maintenance requirements. In addition, more pressure test ports provide quicker, more accurate diagnostics.

Upgraded Case ADTs retain stability, comfort, visibility
The Case articulated dump trucks retain their wider frame and lower dump body, which provides room for the dump cylinders to be housed inside, creating a lower center of gravity and exceptional stability. Housing the cylinders inside the frame also means they are better protected from the elements than those mounted outside the frame.

The spacious cab is designed for operator comfort and ease of use, with ergonomic controls positioned within the operator's reach, easy view of all status lights, an adjustable steering console and a suspension seat designed to adjust to the operator.

"A more comfortable operator is more productive, and Case has worked very hard to make operators more comfortable," said Wolf. "The new Case ADT models have many creature comforts, including an extra-cushioned ride that reduces operator fatigue."

The ability to see the entire job site is also essential, which is why Case has incorporated a long, sloping front hood for excellent visibility to the front and sides of the truck.

Popular options serve popular size class
Options on Case articulated dump trucks include remote control, heated side mirrors, mechanical tailgate, heated dump body and a variety of tire choices.

With rated operating loads to 25.4 and 30 tons and net horsepower of 248 and 286, respectively, the Case 325 and 330 serve one of the most popular and fastest-growing sizes of ADTs.
