Cirque du Soleil Makes Great Park Official Touring Site Location

Shows Begin January 2010

Irvine,CA/PRNewswire/ Larry Agran, Chairman of the Orange County Great Park, announced recently that Cirque du Soleil has agreed to make the Great Park the official Orange County site location of the Cirque du Soleil touring show Kooza in 2010. Kooza will perform under the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) for a limited engagement starting Jan. 7, 2010.

"We are honored the internationally acclaimed Cirque du Soleil has selected the Orange County Great Park to be an official site location of Cirque du Soleil's big top touring shows," said Agran. "This marks another milestone toward making the Great Park Orange County's premier destination location and entertainment venue."

Since 1984, Cirque du Soleil has brought wonder and delight to close to 90 million spectators in more than 200 cities on five continents. In 2009, Cirque du Soleil will present 19 shows simultaneously throughout the world. Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year.

Specially-priced tickets are available to Cirque Club members through June 15; beginning June 16, tickets will be available to the general public.
