Offering a combination of design and construction features, Monotube Piles promote the use and economics of shorter driven lengths, using simple installation techniques and conventional equipment. Any contractor having pile-driving experience can install them, and the manufacturer's piling engineers are available to provide advice and assistance, especially on export jobs. Features include:

•Cold processing is a fabrication process which increases the tensile yield strength of steel in the fabricated pile to a guaranteed minimum of 50,000 psi
•No mandrel or special devices needed; readily available standard truck or crawler cranes can be used
•Fluted cross-section provides increased rigidity to withstand handling and driving stresses; the combined effect of cold processing and vertical fluting permits the use of lighter gauges
•Tapered shape reduces concrete volume requirements and attendant costs
•Shape also develops the necessary load capacity with minimum embedment in the bearing stratum.
•Forged steel conical noses are factory attached and included in the price of all tapered sections
•Three rates of taper, F, J and Y, are available to develop the required capacity in the bearing stratum
•Pile sections are self-aligning for joint welding due to telescopic design and fluted cross-section; cutoffs can be reused to extend other piles
•Orders can be adjusted as to length of pile and quantity as the job progresses to meet actual requirements
