Metering Technology Corporation (MTC)e to configure custom communications schedules, the Epsilon Electric Meters can record load or other data at configurable intervals. This intelligent system provides detailed consumption and demand measurement for both small and large-scale metering applications. The ANSI models are single phase meters and are available for 60 Hz American and Canadian power service applications. IEC models are three-phase meters available for bottom-connected commercial services in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and Central and South America.

Both models comply with IEC 60687 for active power and IEC 61268 for reactive power, or ANSI C12.1, C12.10, C12.13, and C12.16. They feature:
• Industry-standard 5A and 120A current inputs (IEC), or 200A current inputs (ANSI)
• Modem and line interface for telephone communications
• Multi-range 0.2%, 0.5%, and 1.0% accuracy for three-phase loads (IEC) (0.5% or 1.0% accuracy for ANSI).
• Automatic recording and reporting of power surges, sags, and outages
• Information security by multiple password levels and data encryption.
