ISG's Dynastone allows concrete to be used in corrosive environments without the need for expensive plastic liners. It is designed to achieve excellent sulfuric acid resistance at a cost comparable to traditional concrete production. With this technology, concrete pipe manufacturers or other precasters can continue operations with few changes. No new equipment is needed and mold turnaround times remain substantially the same with its high early strength performance. What does change is the concrete mix. Dynastone employs a patented mixture of cement, carefully characterized fly ash, a high range water reducing agent and a proprietary chemical activator. It can be used in all forms of dry cast and wet cast applications and is corrosion resistant.
