Continuous Deflection Separation Technology

Continuous Deflection Separation Technology
Continuous deflective separation technology, to be featured at the WEFTEC Conference, uses the natural motion of the water to separate and trap pollutants

Continuous deflective separation technology, currently featured at the WEFTEC Conference, uses the natural motion of the water to separate and trap pollutants. CDS uses screen filtration to provide an alternative to previous technologies.

The units are said to capture 95 to 100% of all stormwater gross pollutants before they reach waterways. With sorbent material, the units are said the capture 80 to 90 percent of used motor oil at concentrations typically found in stormwater runoff.

The units feature concrete or fiberglass construction, stainless separation screens, and no moving parts. They are available in capacity ranges from one to 300 cubic feet per second.
