Continuous Media Automatic Feed Water Filtration Unit

The E-CLTD CMAFWFU is designed for the continuous removal of solids at inflow rates up to 10 GPM using nominal five-micron paper media. The effluent stream is directed to the unit by gravity or by an optional sump container and pump. Cascaded electrical control of the inflow stream provides the unit with protection against flooding. The effluent is filtered through the filter paper. As the paper begins to clog, the fluid creates a puddle on the paper which activates the conveyor. The conveyor advances automatically, discharging the spent media to the catch container and positioning new media in the puddle, allowing filtration to continue. The filtered water is discharged through a 3/4" ball valve to a floor drain, or pumped to the drain by an optional auto-discharge to drain system.
