Marathon's massive TR-12 Two-Ram Baler is prepared for shipment to the Bronx in New York City. It is part of a complete system that includes balers, rotary recyclers and conveyors.

Currently Marathon is shipping conveyor systems to several new installations. One of these is a new facility located in the Bronx section of New York City that recycles both full and empty outdated plastic beverage bottles. This complete Marathon package includes a powerful TR-12 Two-Ram baler, 2 of Marathon's patented Rotary Recyclers, and 13 conveyors including 4 steelbelt conveyors, storage bins, and sorting platform. This is a great example of Marathon's ability to provide a complete equipment package. This project is scheduled for completion by the end of March. Another recent installation, in Moncton, New Brunswick, features Marathon's patented Side-Eject balers as well as a Vertical Baler. This new MRF also has 3 sliderbed conveyors.

Marathon's conveyors and recycling equipment are also being used in municipal solid waste applications. The City of Grand Forks, North Dakota, uses two, TR-12, Two-Ram Balers fed by steelbelt conveyors to bale municipal solid waste (MSW). Conveyors have also been built to feed the TS-2000 Transfer System.
