The system was designed specifically for subterranean protection of Depend-O-Lok ExE and FxF Couplings. The system protects the entire coupling unit from corrosion by utilizing a special mastic-filled plastic tub, and joint tape wrapping. The unobtrusive design of the coupling allows the system's tub to be installed over the bolted closure plates without voids in the mastic, while the smooth profile of the coupling sleeve assures that the joint tape wrapping will adhere tightly and protect the entire coupling.
