Decanter Centrifuges

Alfa Laval Brewery Systemsof five models with specific designs for specific duties, the 600 Series line of decanter centrifuges can be used for municipal or industrial wastewater treatment plants processing from 175 to 350 gpm of sludge. The standard dewatering models are said to deliver 20-25% dry solids content, and the high-performance models can reach up to 35%. Thickening models achieve from four to eight percent dry solids content.

The compact, modular design of this product line is said to make installation quick and easy, only requiring the user to connect the feed inlet and solids and liquid discharge lines.

These centrifuges feature optional regenerative backdrive design, a 360° solids discharge that lowers friction and convey solids efficiently and an optional three-stage gearbox that reduces torque.

The bowl, conveyor, casing, inlet tube, outlets and other parts in contact with the process media are constructed of stainless steel. The solids discharge ports and conveyor ports are protected with either Stellite or tungsten carbide tiles, and the frame is built from steel with epoxy enamel finish.
