Flooring/Decking System
Futura Coating Inc. announced the development of the FUTURA-GUARD flooring/decking system. This system was designed to resist the effects of chemical spills and minor cracks in concrete or masonry surfaces due to substrate movement.
The FUTURA-GUARD system is a three-step process:
Step 1: Apply the Futura-Bond primer, which allows the remaining coats to bond completely and permanently.
Step 2: Apply the Futura-Thane 530 base coat, a self-leveling, aromatic, polyurethance elastomer that providesprotection for concrete or masonry surfaces.
Step 3: Apply the Futura-Thane 551 finishing coat. This coat is an aliphatic elastomer that provides long-term color retention for the system.
