GBA Work Master®
GBA Work Master is a comprehensive maintenance management program designed as a tool to help you establish a maintenance plan, set priorities, provide timetables, track system rehabilitation, and give direction on maintaining your system effectively. GBA Work Master has been designed to assign and track work tasks with minimal changes in your existing operations. User-defined codes for personnel, equipment, materials, work tasks, etc., provide you with total control over the specific information to be tracked. GBA Work Master makes it easy to generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual reports consisting of any or all of the information tracked in the work orders.
The GBA Work Master program easily lends itself to a GIS. The filters generated within the program may be sent to a GIS and be pulled up visually on screen. While the power of the program truly lies within GBA Work Master, the benefits of the system become much more apparent when linked to a map. Visual representations of infrastructure problems or high request incident locations typically help to identify, define and develop solutions to the problem.
With the wide range of responsibilities given to system managers, the ability
to generate reports and summarize detailed information is essential for day to
day operations. GBA Work Master reports provide this detail, whether it
is field assignments for crews, usage reports to justify purchasing new
equipment, or payroll reports for budget purposes. The program contains a
virtually unlimited number of possibilities to meet each need.
GBA Work Master is a single software package that provides the
foundation for maintenance management for all of the infrastructure systems
included in the GBA Master Series packages. Unlike some maintenance
programs, GBA Work Master has the ability to create requests and work
orders for all variations in infrastructure components. Whether it's a
sanitary sewer pipe, street segment or water valve, different components can be
tracked through the software.
Customer Complaint Tracking System
Customer complaint tracking within the request module provides instant
information at your fingertips. Requests are keyed by phone numbers,
automatically populating caller information. Work orders can then be
automatically generated from requests. These work orders are linked to requests
so that the request can be closed when the work is completed. Advanced reporting
features enable you to track the history of complaints and determine trends.
Work Order Generation
The work order module is an indispensable maintenance management tool.
Created to work the way you do, the module can create work orders on the fly and
schedule work orders well in advance. You can track multiple tasks over multiple
line segments or manholes in the same work order. A completed work order tracks
personnel, equipment, and material usage and stores unit costs for each item. If
necessary, you can automatically schedule maintenance or additional work tasks
for future completion.
Work Order Scheduling
The Work Order Scheduler module is a visual aid that helps managers and
supervisors plan their work scheduling. Work orders and their subsidiary tasks
created in the Work Orders module appear in the Schedule module in a format
similar to a calendar. This module is a useful tool in modifying the dates of
your work orders as inclement weather and other schedule changes require.
Parts Inventory
The parts inventory module lets you track parts on hand, establish reorder
points, and determine purchase order status. When work orders are performed,
parts are automatically removed from inventory. Once the inventory reaches a
predetermined point, the system prompts you to place an order.
