HD Slurry Paving Machine

These HD slurry pavers are designed for flexibility. They can lay polymer-modified slurries, called micro surfacing, for surface courses and rut-filling applications. The units also lay conventional slurry seal or make cold mix for stockpiling or for direct patching of potholes. According to the manufacturer, the pavers can also empty a full load of materials for micro surfacing in just over six minutes and conventional slurry in just over 10.

A variable-speed, twin-shaft mixer leaves no dead spots for hardened material to build up. The mixer shells and adjustable angle paddles are made of abrasion-resistant steel to provide long service life. The mixer is reversible, and the lid opens hydraulically to make servicing and cleaning easy.

The additive system consists of corrosion-resistant plumbing and tank. A stainless steel gear pump meters the chemical. Its flow is changed through a variable hydrostatic system, and this output is read by a flow meter located on the operator's platform. This helps the operator make exact adjustments to meet changing conditions during the workday. Additional features include:
