Insertion Turbine Flowmeter

EMCO - Engineering Measurements Companyar insertion turbine flowmeter detects the rotation of the rotor using a magnetic pick-up sensor. It provides high accuracy, wide turndown, and a low-mass rotor design without welded joints to maximize rotor longevity and increase sensitivity to changes in flow. The system measures liquids or gases, including steam, for pipe sizes from 3 to 80 inches.

This product offers ± 1.0% of rate accuracy, ± 0.25% of rate repeatability and a turndown ratio up to 35:1. It has FM approval and calibration is traceable to NIST. Factory calibration is standard and the flowmeter can be programmed for specific applications. Start-up can be performed without any additional calibration or programming. An EZ-Logic local display alternates between flow rate and totalized flow, and the user interface enables local programming. Optional bi-directional flow measurement enables one flowmeter to replace two uni-directional flowmeters, while optional integral pressure and temperature measurement enables mass flow measurement from one pipe tap (installation).
