The Dragon Dryer system uses indirect heating technology to reduce sludge volume by 75%, while producing a beneficial and reusable Class A product. The dryer has a dual heat source that dries biosolids without direct contact. Complete isolation of the sludge, in the drying chamber, from combustion gases allows for essentially zero emissions. This single pass system avoids the possibility of recontamination and reduces energy consumption. With over 15 safety interlocks the dryer can safely operate unattended.
