MAPdirector for ArcView- Mapping/ GIS Software
MAPdirector for ArcView provides numerous methods for associating asset and work management information to GIS. In one method, MAPdirector for ArcView automatically creates event themes from the database and keeps them up to date. Changes you make in any of the asset management programs automatically update ArcView's display. MAPdirector for ArcView commands allow you to manipulate the database in viewSERIES applications as well. This two-way connection can best be described as a seamless link between ArcView and a CartéGraph asset and work management applications.
With MAPdirector for ArcView you can geographically manipulate your database. By using any of ArcView's commands to create a selection set, your database of assets will reflect this geographic selection. This is an excellent tool to analyze and modify a subset of your database.
Other CartéGraph applications are GPS-enabled, and MAPdirector for ArcView is no exception. If you have a GPS receiver and CartéGraph's XYZlink utility, MAPdirector for ArcView's GPS Tracker will pinpoint your position on a map dynamically and will automatically pan when you get close to the edge.
