HAWS Corporation, a leading manufacturer of emergency equipment, has introduced model 8355WC to its emergency equipment line. Model 8355WC is a pull-down laboratory drench shower and eyewash in a single recessed stainless steel housing designed for barrier free access.The showerhead is satin finished, cast aluminum with flange allowing for flush mounting to the ceiling. Activation of the showerhead is accomplished by pulling down on a stainless steel activation arm which activates a stay-open brass ball valve with stainless steel stem.
The eyewash has a pair of polished chrome plated brass Soft-flo anti-surge eyewash heads activated by pulling down the drainage pan. The drainage pan operates a polished chrome plated brass ball-type valve. The eyewash water supply is regulated with an automatic pressure-compensation device assuring steady water flow under varying system pressures.
