New AgileAssets Mobile App Improves Bridge Inspection Accuracy And Efficiency Using Mapping And Data Validation

The AgileAssets® Structures Inspector™ mobile application, a companion to the company’s Structures Inspector™ web solution, helps bridge inspection teams improve accuracy and efficiency through interactive maps and built-in data validation.

Using the mobile application to replace paper-and-clipboard processes, inspectors can see the location of a planned inspection on a map, view the last inspection report, access inventory information, complete National Bridge Inventory (NBI) component and element ratings, and augment ratings with annotated photos—all while working without network connectivity on an Apple® iOS or Android™ tablet. Syncing data from the mobile device with the web application helps field workers increase productivity by eliminating data-entry errors, rework, and repeat trips to inspection sites.
