PND CORPORATION provide an immediate seal to leaks of flammable and/or hazardous materials to prevent pollution of ground, water and air, the Plug N' Dike tool is made of a non-toxic material. It forms an immediate seal with its combination of high water-absorption polymer in a bentonite base. The polymer absorbs more than 300 times its own weight in water into a microstructure producing a seal against penetration of fuels and chemicals. Applications for this product include patching punctures caused in handling or leakage around the seams of drums, controlling pressure leaks by diking to protect adjacent equipment and materials, or maintaining ruptured gas or diesel tanks. It can also be used as a first-response method to temporarily control leaks and spills, and prevent major pollution. For use both in the public and private sectors, the product is a major part of any spill kit for contingency planning to reduce damage, liability and costly cleanup.
