Pearpoint Becomes Part Of The United Dominion Industries Family Of Companies

THOUSAND PALMS, CA — Pearpoint, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of video pipeline inspection equipment is pleased to announce its acquisition by United Dominion Industries.

Radiodetection, another of United Dominion Industries' companies will head up the CCTV Division of which Pearpoint will now be a part. Mike Pettemerides of Radiodetection has been appointed Managing Director of the CCTV division. Alan Sefton, founder of Pearpoint will run Pearpoint's traffic camera and visual inspection products business, which is being established as a separate division, based in Knoxville, Tennessee. His mission will be to build this exciting new enterprise.

Thomas P. Schmandt, has been appointed President and CEO of Pearpoint, Inc. He will head up Pearpoint Inc.'s rapidly growing environmental products business in the North, Central and South American markets.

This acquisition will bring many opportunities for growth and expansion.
