FIBER PAVE 3010 PolyPROpylene fibers are strong and durable. According to the manufacturer, mixes reinforced with these fibers produced pavement with a structural life of 50-100% greater than conventional asphalt paving. The fiber also exhibits resistance to permanent deformation and creep, less rutting, washboarding, and good fatigue properties.
FIBER PAVE is a short length fine denier polypropylene fiber used as an asphalt reinforcement for highway pavement reinforcement. It readily disperses in hot mix systems and can be processed and applied with conventional equipment. The fibers function to improve durability and flexibility, hence improving the ability of the mix to resist reflective cracking resulting from freeze/thaw of traffic loading.
