Potable Water Filtration
A mobile response unit for potable water applications, designed and built by Separmatic Filter Company, consists of two diatomaceous earth pressure filters which can be operated independently or in parallel with a maximum flow rate for both filters of 260 gallons per minute. Much larger and much smaller systems are also available. The system is housed in a semi-trailer truck, and includes wiring, electric heat, lights and controls.The company also manufactures both pressure and vacuum diatomaceous earth filters, permanent media sand filters, strainers, and chemical feed pumps and systems.
