Propex Geosynthetics And NAUE Reach Agreement On US Biaxial Grid Distribution

Chattanooga, TN — Propex Geosynthetics, a leader in manufacturing and marketing geotextiles and erosion control products, has reached an agreement with NAUE GmbH & Co. KG to be the exclusive distributor for Secugrid® and Combigrid® biaxial geogrids in the United States. This agreement is in effect beginning January 1, 2008. As the exclusive distributor of NAUE biaxial geogrids, Propex will be responsible for all sales and marketing of these products in the United States, including inventory of products, generating specifications and providing installation assistance.

NAUE polypropylene biaxial geogrids will be offered through Propex in 15.4 ft. roll widths which facilitates rapid deployment and less overlap. The superior key product values in aperture size, tensile strength, torsional rigidity and stiffness will result in rapid project approvals and acceptance.
