New rural electrification packages offer remote parks and camps that are unconnected to the electricity grid, solar power electricity systems for comfort stations, stand-alone path lights, nighttime boat launching areas and dock markers. These stand-alone, self-contained units can be easily placed in most locations and offer comfort, reliability and security applications during the summer season.

Designed to provide basic comforts for conventional camp comfort stations, this versatile system, requiring only direct access to sunlight to operate effectively, provides access lighting, inside lighting, and continuous stack ventilation to improve air circulation and reduce noxious odors. System components consist of:

•A nominal 50W, roof-mounted photovoltaic panel (optional pole mount available)
•A 400 lumen internal white lamp operated on a pre-set timer
•A 600 lumen external amber weather and vandal-proof lamp which will stay lit for hours after dusk
•A high efficiency fan on the comfort station's stack set to run continuously during the summer season
•Electronic controls and energy storage are located in a tmper-proof steel box that can be mounted on an external wall for ease of access
