The Dow Chemical Company introduced a family of macroporous uniform particle size (UPS) ion exchange resins for industrial water demineralization.
The line consists of Dowex Marathon MSC strong acid cation resin, Dowex Marathon MSA strong base anon resin, and Dowex Marathon WBA and WBA-2 weak base anon resins. All four are macroporous resins with uniform particle size distribution.
The resins are said to be the choice in applications with high fouling organic potential.
