Evoqua Water Technologies (now part of Xylem)losed screw pump is made of four main elements: the cylinder unit, the two supporting bearings and the drive unit. The pump cylinder and its internals form a single structure containing no moving parts. The conically pitched helical flights housed within the pump cylinder are continuously welded to its interior surface. When the cylinder turns there is no slippage of liquid inside the pump, eliminating friction, leakage and plugging, as well as raising the pump lifts volumetric efficiency. This unit can raise wastewater, storm water, oily liquids, sewage, and slurries to heights of 60 ft and higher.
The structure is made of welded steel and control panels are available to suit individual project needs.
