Self-Sealing Submersible Cable

Self-Sealing Submersible Cable
Designed for use with the company's line of submersible water level sensors, the KPSI self-sealing cable prevents damage as a result of water incursion
N/Ar use with the company's line of submersible water level sensors, the KPSI self-sealing cable prevents damage as a result of water incursion due to inadvertent cuts in the cable jacket. The self-sealing water block layer prevents water from migrating beneath the jacket into the transducer housing. The cable incorporates a 50% increase in jacket thickness from the previous cable, decreasing vulnerability to cutting. It features a spiral-wrapped shield layer for flexibility, for applications where the cable is pulled through conduit. It is 100% purged with dry nitrogen prior to installation onto the transducer, removing water vapor that may have been trapped within the cable.
