Founded in 1952, Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association is a wholesale electric power supplier that serves 44 electric cooperatives. Tri-State generates and transports electricity to its member systems across a 250,000 square mile service territory throughout Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wyoming and is responsible for over 5,200 miles of transmission line.
