The RG50 is a self-contained machine that has the power to self-propel through a 36 in.-wide opening to work in backyards like walk-behind machines.

The product features a 48-horsepower oil-cooled Deutz Diesel engine, which connects to a hydrostatic transmission to provide smooth travel. An up-front swing-away console gives a safe view of the work in progress with the operator located behind a full-length lexan and rubber shield.

The console also houses all of the machine's control levers and gauges as well as the engine ignition switch. The machine carries a four wheel stance with front-drive wheels, and steers from the rear axle. A dual wheel kit is optional for greater tractive effort, a lighter footprint, and enhanced hillside capacity.
