Designed for monitoring the air flow rate in the drop pipes to diffused aeration systems, the Snorkel can eliminate inaccurate readings caused by flow measurements made without adequate lengths of straight pipe. Double sealed and potted, the probe can be installed up to 25 ft. below the water surface in a ½-in. NPT tap. The thermal dispersion technology measures SCFM without requiring external pressure or temperature sensors. The NEMA 4X transmitter is 120 VAC or 24 VDC powered and includes a LCD display and a 4-20 mA output signal.
