The Hortonsphere vessel provides a safe option for storing large volumes of liquids and gases under a wide range of pressure and temperature conditions. CoilBuilding provides on-site fabrication and erection of tank shells directly from coil steel. The tank shell material is unwound from a coil and formed to the desired tank radius on-site. As the shell material is continuously uncoiled, it is formed into complete tank shell rings that are then welded together. This process is repeated ring by ring until the full shell height is attained. These tanks are well suited for applications in the petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, water and wastewater industries. They also feature turnkey responsibility.
